My name is Marcel Sandoval. I've spent years in the Ad Tech industry, gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to help you or your company succeed. I’ve had the opportunity to work in Technical Support roles as well as Product leadership roles in very diverse companies, from small companies like Eskimi to larger organizations like Xandr (now Microsoft) or Oracle.
Along the way I’ve been lucky enough to learn a thing or two about Ad Tech, Product Management, Technical Customer Services as well as all the necessary skills to successfully navigate different kinds of organizations. This is my way of putting those learnings to good use and sharing with the world!
A bit about me…
Head of Product

I currently work at Eskimi as the Head of Product. Eskimi is an Ad Tech provider with offerings for publishers, agencies and advertisers. I oversee Product development and strategy across the entire Eskimi suite of products and manage a team of Product Managers, Product Designers, Data Analysts and Supply Onboarding Specialists across multiple locations.
Senior Product Manager

TripleLift is a programmatic advertising platform that drives innovation across multiple digital formats. My role was within the Platform Product team and I was responsible for the Data and Reporting products as well as drove the adoption of application development product standards across different product lines.
Associate Director of Product

Xandr is a full stack Ad Tech platform born from AT&T’s acquisition of AppNexus. Later on, Xandr was acquired by Microsoft and made part of Microsoft Advertising. My last role at Xandr was overseeing a team of two product managers and the DSP monitoring and efficiency, budgeting and optimization and reporting product areas. I also was responsible for a few strategic initiatives such as Digital Out of Home.
Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager I was directly responsible for the development of the DSP Monitoring and Troubleshooting area as well as the DSP user experience and efficiency. That involved working with two engineering teams, partnering closely with our Product Designer and conducting user interviews to gather customer feedback. I also supported the team with multiple efficiency focused initatives
Product Manager

My first Product role was within Xandr’s DSP team and I was responsible for the DSP’s Monitoring and Troubleshooting area, working with a dedicated engineering team. In this role I delivered features like improvements to bulk edit of campaigns, a self serve troubleshooting tool for customers as well as multiple UX functional improvements.
Technical Support Manager

Before becoming a product manager, I led the DSP EMEA support team. I not only managed the team, but also was part of the decisioning and development process that led to the creation of the team. This role included improvements of processes, aligning with multiple stakeholders across multiple functions and locations, managing a team of 7 people distributed in 4 different countries, among other things.
Technical Support Specialist

Appnexus was my first full time professional experience. I joined the Technical Support team, where I was in charge of helping clients with their issues using our products. Overtime, I was the dedicated support specialist for our largest European customer. I also developed subject matter expertise within our team and became the go to specialist for a couple of product areas.
Advanced Customer Support Intern

My first venture into the workforce was at Oracle’s Fussion Middleware business line. In the Advanced Customer Support team I was responsible for the development and maintenance of internal information management tools as well as the generation and delivery of customer tailored documentation.
